Whoawzaa! I cant believe this little girl is 7 months old. She is so quickly catching on to new things. I continue to love this little girl more than I could ever imagine. Her personality continues to shine. She is definitely going to be a drama queen. She is dramatic about everything and almost laughs at you when you feed into her drama. She has this little fake dramatic whine that she does when she doesnt like what your doing a.k.a not paying total attention to her, and when she doesnt like what she is playing with. She gives the little smirk when you then do what she wants you to do. I guess I have been known to be dramatic once or twice in my life :). She is such a blessing into our lives. She makes everyday that much brighter. She is really starting to be a picky little eater over the last month. She used to love her veggies, but now is starting to gag when you try to feed her them or do her no way lips pursed tight blowing out her nose face when she doesnt want something. This girl sure lets you know what she wants when she wants it. She still really likes her fruit and I have been able to add apricots and mangos to the list of fruits that she eats. I also started baby yogurt this weekend and so far so good she is handling the whole milk with no problems! Yeah that means I can go back to adding som dairy into my diet! Oh yogurt how I have missed you so much! At this point though I am willing to give her whatever she wants in order to get her to keep the pounds coming on. She is also quite entertained by her toys these days, she still puts just about everything in her mouth, but she is actually really enjoying all of her things. Her MoMa recently bought her kitchen stuff and she absolutely loves the stuff in it. Pots, Pans, fake food, spoons, etc. She can keep herself completely entertained for almost an hour just playing with the food. She bangs the pots and pans together and on her head and all over the place. Se also has recently really started moving. I mean really this girl doesnt stop she is constantly on the move however she isnt that coordinated about it. Shell be in my lap one minute and the next she is throwing herself at some toy and faceplanting into the ground (we spend most of our time at ground level so we arent getting to many bumps and brusies yet! She also really wants to crawl, she gets into the crawl position fromt he sitting posititon and eventually just plops herself onto the ground and rolls over. This occurs about every five minutes now. This weekend she really started to have an interest in figuring it out. ALthough I think she has a couple of weeks before she is officially on the move she definitely is headed in the right direction and you can tell by her constatn need to be in the crawl postition that she is ready to be running after Hulk very soon. He has no idea what he is in for! She continues to wake up 2-3 times per night. I still nurse her every monring, night and overnight, but pretty much she gets pumped milk in a bottle all day long. There is a little more wiggle room to feed her with a bottle while she tries to move. We have tried a sippy cup but she still isnt too sure about it, so we will have to wait another week and try again. She still is a cuddle bug and she needs a cuddle every night before bed. You cant just lay her down and expect her to go to bed she likes a little cuddling and I cant blame her I need it too! Enjoy a few videos of her crazy talking and almost crawling self! 7 months of pure bliss and love that I dont even now how to describe with words. She completes us in a way that I never imagined. Tyler and I couldnt have asked for a better life.

Water Baby
Well a few weeks ago I mentioned that Franki really loved swimming lessons and she did, but there is nothing to describe how much she enjoys it now that we have been to 6 lessons. She used to like it but she would just smile and go with whatever we were doing. The last two weeks everyone in the lessons comments on how happy she is and how much she loves the water. We get into the water and she immediately begins splashing and laughing. She splashes everyone and she kicks her little legs to try to get the floating things in the water, she just really really loves it. She is a little fish. She is the youngest one in the class and she seems to enjoy it much more than all the other kids. The instructor even says how good she is for her age. It is just too cute to watch. I guess she takes after her Papa (he was a great swimmer all through High School). I can only imagine my Grandma Rossi looking down from Heaven watching Franki at her swimming lessons and loving every minute of it. I just remember my Grandma always talking about her only son and what a wonderful swimmer he was (she saved every single ribbon that he ever one and gave them to my dad a a few years back). I just know that she would love to see her swimming around. It makes me happy just thinking about it. So in lieu of Franki being such a good little swimmer, I officially graduated her from her baby bath tub into the regular tubs for baths and she absolutely loves it. She is able to get all her toys and move around in the water and she just loves it because it allows her lots more room and lots of splashing. I cant get enough of how much fun she is and how much her personlity is coming out.
We also started a music class called sign and sing. I am sooooo exxcited to start teaching her different signs. I have a pretty decent background in American Sign Language since I used it to communicate with my little Angel Dimitri. Its been about 7 years since I have really used it, seeing that Little D was my very first Angel that I had ever taken care of. I just think all of the baby sign language studies are really amazing and I look forward to seeing how my little Franki adapts to learning some signs and some ability to communicate before she can use her words. The class we are in focuses on animals so she should quickly learn the sign for Dog! Anyways I just try to really enjoy our time off together and keep us nice and busy for the winter.

And a HAPPY DAY it was!
We had a nice sweet Valentine's Day at home. Franki of course got spoiled (what else is new!) this baby has a lot of people loving her. Tyler, Franki and I were able to eat breakfast together. It was a nice simple breakfast (frozen waffles!) but it was the time spent that really counts. It was nice to wake up and have breakfast as a family. Franki loves her breakfast time and she has always found it entertaining to watch us eat and talk. Tyler and I finished our evening togehter with delivery Pizza, flowers, and a little bit of Just Dance and Broadway Dance! Yeah that is right my hubby wanted to see me shake my booty! I gave him a little homemade collage of pictures of Franki for his Desk at work! It was what I would call the perfect V-day. Franki hung out with my mom and Elle and got some pretty great gifts! Which I would say will now be a tradition. Growing up we always got small gifts from my mom for valentine's day. So therefore the tradition has now passed on to our little lady. Ty and I also got a little gift from them to enable us to enjoy a nice dinner out together this coming weekend. We have not gone to dinner or out just the two of us in quite sometime. We are overdue and so thankful to my mom and aunt for allowing us to get this time together. Franki was so excited to get her presents. She even opened them herself! She was a little more interested in eating the paper and card than she was with her actual presents. Today though she was absolutely loving her new toys. Her MoMa bought her a hokey pokey Elmo(it is tooo cute, when he is finished dancing he says whoa elmo is pooped). I just think Elmo toys are too cute. She also loves when we sing and dance along with it, probably because we look even goofier than Elmo when we dance. Elle got her a lawn mower for the summer that blows bubbles! It is too cute and I can already picture her pushing it around the yard!
On other news Franki was a pure angel on our recent trip to Minnesota (despite her newest stranger anxiety). She slept on the flight both ways and was really just a great baby especially since she was out of her usual environment. She got lots of loving and held more than usual which put us in a slight prediciment on sunday when we got home and she had gotten used to her momma holding her and sleeping with her we had an impossible night of sleep. Everytime I put her down she would flail her arm looking for me in her crib (little does she realize im just a bit to big to fit in her crib)! It was almost kinda sad to watch her moving her arm around with her eyes closed and crying in her sleep looking for her momma. I did a lot of waking up with her overnight and we also did a lot of cuddling that night. Luckily she got back on schedule yesterday and is back to her usual routine(which still isnt sleeping all night long but waking up 2 times a night is better than 10 times). Overall though my sweet angel was percect and she makes a lasting impression on all the little old ladies we came across.
Elle and I almost positive that Franki said her first word today. We say hi and bye to her a lot. We say hi all the time to her and it always puts a big smile on her face. Elle said hi to her and is clearly sounded like she said hi back. So we repeated it again and again clearly she repeated HI! Im sure she has no idea what she is saying but she is definitely repeating the phonics in the word. We couldnt help but laugh becuse it sounded so funny to hear it in her high pitched little tone! So well have to see what little miss Franki babbles tomorrow! Enjoy some of her V-Day photos!
Also for all you mom's out there Franki got the cutest book for V-Day from my Ellen and MoMa. Presenting Tallulah by Tori Spelling (is so stinkin cute and Highly reccommended!) Also Smooch your Pooch which is a totally cute book especially if you have a dog at home. Happy Love Day everyone!

Screamer
Love these pictures of her. Isnt that little face sweet? Plus look at all that snow! It was a crazy lovely day and I want to make sure Franki remembers all that snow. She watched her Daddy try to sled down the hill in the garbage lid, she also watched her daddy wipe out and sink into the snow about 1 foot from the top of the hill! It's days like that that mean so much. We were stuck for 24 hours together and loving every minute of it!
Well I have been meaning to get this on tape in order to show her lung volumes and ability to talk loudly! I know I have been talking about it forever, but havenet recorded it. Well it just so happens that Ellen got the whole thing on tape. She loves her Jenny Jump Up so much she decides to tell you all about it in this video!
Also she finally decided to ROLL! Yep that is right she is rolling from her stomach to her back with ease now and she can just about get herself into the sitting position from her belly. She might be tiny but she sure is strong. Enjoy!

Teether
Swimmer!
Naked Baby!
Beautiful!
Glam Girl!
Franki is really starting her teething adventure. So we have had our ups and downs with happy and crabby baby lately. Of course ususally much happier than she is crabby, but you can tell when her mouth is bothering her. I think we have finally come up with a good cocktail that keeps her comfortable. Including occasional motrin, teething tablets, oragel, cold teethers, and frozen waffles. She opens her mouth anytime she sees that you are handing her anything. She cant wait to get things in her mouth to soothe those gums. WE arew still waiting to actually see the tooth pop in. If we had bets on it though I think we will see the right bottom tooth pop up in the next few weeks or so. It really is affecting how much we sleep. I havenet gotten much sleep in the last couple of weeks. We have gone back to month 2 of life where she is waking up at 2-3 hour intervals and just wants to be held and nursed. Although in between feeds I have been trying to give her water per the pediatricians recommendations to get her to drink more milk during the day. So I am almost praying that these teeth just come in soon so that we can get a little more sleep. Its hard because she only wants to nurse when she wakes up, so Tyler cant really get up and help me because then she seems to just get more mad. .I always talk about how happy and talkative she is. I have attached a video for everyone to see her little personality shining through.
