Where does the time Go?

6 month stats Addi: 13 pounds 6 ounces (a pound less than Franki was at this age) So if Franki was a peanut, Addi is a jelly bean! But I swear to you that Franki never had the sweet baby chunky legs that Addi has and I love it. Addi is on the move, this girl rolls from one end of the room to the other without stopping to think. She is all over the place and fast. She can sit up on her own and moves in lots of circles attempting to crawl. She gets frustrated because she cant crawl yet. She is also trying to stand up by pulling herself up. She loves watching her sister and I think that she is motivated just by watching her. Addi has lots to look at all the time. She is constantly watching Franki and the neighbor girls run around in circles and this is totally entertaining to her. Addi still is a good sleeper, not as good, but I have more tolerance to let her cry a little than I did with Franki and eventually she falls asleep on her own. The problem is she learns new things everyday and her brain does not want to shut off at night. She still loves sucking on her middle and ring fingers of her right hand to soothe herself. She is such a happy, go-lucky baby. She loves her baby food or should i say all fruits and barely any veggies! She laughs all the time and she loves to fake cough and then laugh. This girl really could not be any better of a baby. She loves attention and loves her momma and as long as she has one of those she is a happy girl!

Franki is 25 months old and weighs in at 24 pound 6 ounces. She is 33 inches tall. She is communicating more each day. I cant believe how smart she is. She loves to talk about the people in her life and it is amazing how much she remembers. She talks about my Geema all the time. She met her again this summer and cant stop talking about Meem and how she lives in Florida and will be back soon. She talks all day long. She also loves to play. Her favorite people on the planet are our neighbors, milha, sophie and val. She loves them. The girls are 7, 3.5 and 2 respectively and they are the best of friends. They play and they play hard. We can rarely be found inside. The girls are usually running or riding in the car up and down the sidewalks. It is such a fun experience to watch. It is amazing to watch little girls play and become such sweet caring friends. Franki loves to make Addi laugh, by tickling her and by just getting in her face making faces, she also loves to make her cry by getting way to up in her business and way to touchy and pushy. She means well but little miss addi doesnt understand why she gets toppled over with a big hug from her sister. Franki can sing the ABCs and count to 10! We are so proud of our little sponge. Enjoy some more pictures of our favorite little people!

Birthday Girl...TWO!!!!

Franki turned TWO!!! And she was so absolutely proud to be two. She celebrated all weekend and was very eager to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY and TWO!! Shouting both from the roof tops! She was absolutely the happiest two year old around. We celebrated as any two year old would with baloons, cake, family, friends, presents and more presents and all Minnie themed! We thank our family and friends for all the wonderful company and all the wonderful. And we couldnt be happier to spend the whole weekend together as a family. We have been so blessed and full in life because of this sassy, sweet, spunky loveable little gal! This has been by far the best two years of our life and we cant thank Franki enough for all the laughs and memories that she has provided to us for the last two years. I love you my sweet girl and I can wait to celebrate another year with you!

Summer Lovin'

Summer is exactly what has happened to us and our lack of blogging as of lately. It has been hot and in full summer fashion we have been living up every moment lately. Swimming, sprinklers, family and friends multiplied by 1000. We go to our local swimming pool at least 2 times per week if not more. Franki is so brave and loves swimming. She loves to jump in the water. She loves playing with buckets and cups of water and occasionally going down the little kid slides. She even goes up the ladder all by herself to get out of the water. Addi is our little trooper, she hangs out in our stroller or in her car seat with her toys and usually falls asleep  for her morning nap. So Franki and I get a little bit of one on one time in the pool and she really loves that. (next summer might be a little more difficult with two brave swimmers in the water :)). We also have been doing the usual summer fun, staying out late swapping normal routines for staying out playing with friends, going to bed a little dirtier than usual since most days include several popsicles maybe a cookie or two, sticky sweet fruit, markers, pain, dirt and whatever else we get our hands on. Franki is going to be two in a little over two weeks. Scary that my baby is growing up so fast! She is a little sassy pants two year old lately too. The most loveable thing ever really. She is bossy, persistent, lovey, talkative, and more talkative. This girl talks all day long, sometimes you understand her sometimes you dont, but God love her she can talk. Never a dull moment from this girl. She repeats everything we say. She has to do everything anyone is doing around her, example, we go to the bathroom she go "potty too Mama, potty too" water too mama, water too, etc. Working on potty training and likely will start in full force around her birthday. She likes to show us how fast things are by moving her arms without actually running and it is quite entertaining. She has two new neighbor girlfriends that she just loves hanging out with. Every afternoon after her nap she wants me to go over the there house and "knock knock posie" a.k.a go ring or knock on Sophie's door. She continues to hold up two fingers but says she is going to be three and apparently the only person attending her party is Kathy! Since whenever you ask her about her party she sas Kathy is coming. So much I could tell you about this girl. But mostly she is just loving summer just as much as her momma. So forgive us if we are having too much fun to blog more or blog often! Addi is currently almost five months. Rolling all over my house, sitting up with just a little bit of support and continuing to lighten our lives even more with her ocean baby blue eyes, toothless grin, and full bodied giggle. She is loving all the summer attention from Nana and she loves watching all the action we have going on. She tried rice cereal for the first time and was soo ready for it. I was going to wait but felt like she was ready and this girl was straight up attacking the spoon. Up next apples and carrots (again all home made baby food). I love providing for these two beauties all that I can.

On other news Tyler got a wonderful promotion. We have been so blessed in 2012. He will be traveling a bit more which of course will leave us missing him, but it is a great oppotunity for him and will definitely make a difference for our family as a whole. We are so proud of him. We dont have all the details yet but we will soon and Ill post more when we know. For now cheers to Ty on moving on up!

Pictures to come soon, we just got a new camera!

Remembering the fun stuff

Things I dont want to forget about my two girls right now:
Franki:

Almost 23 month's old! Yikes so close to 2!
In the last three months her vocabulary has quadrupled. She is so vocal. She speaks in three to four word sentences often and communicates using words, phrases and short sentences. Some of her phrases that keep us laughing: "where'd she/he go" (with a very quizical look on her face, and she looks all around), mere, mere, mere (come here), Love you MUUUCCHHH (with her arms spread big) She pretty much says much anytime you put your arms out for a hug. She is fixated on her baby dolls. She talks about how they have pee and poo and always wants to change there imaginary diapers. She is obsessesd with peoples names (she knows every single kid at schools name, all her teachers, all of our friends and families names and she talks about everyone of them. If you start talking about Ellie, she knows ellie is associated with Nana and Papa so she says there names over and over very excited. Same goes for all of our other close friends and family. It is so sweet how she knows everyones names, especially the people she is most fond of. She loves to draw, sing, play pretend kitchen, pretend with dolls, and loves to either love/hate on her sister. Her tantrums are in full force when they come on, but come and go quickly. She loves the water (we go swimming abvout three times a week and she is little miss independent jumping right into the pool) She now loves school and we have seen such a difference in her since she has started. She now walks in with me helps me get all Addi's stuff tucked away into her room and then proceeds in to her room. She gets her Minnie doll and then proceeds to sit and hang out with the kids who are there. We have a special sign for I love you and a kiss and then I am on my way. ( what an improvement this has been since the first four weeks she screamed bloody murder). She is just so much fun, we have our hard times as I think anyone with toddlers does but she really is the light of our lives. Here is to one more month til we have ourselves a full fledged toddler running around!

Addi 4 months old.  Her 4 month stats: 11 pounds 5 oz, 23.75 inches. Perfect ball of baby fun. She is rolling all over the place. She is still our little observer. She loves looking at and examining everything. She reaches for all different kinds of toys, she loves watching bubbles and trying to get them as they float around her head. She smiles and laughs literally all the time. She only cries when she is hungry and man does she let you know how badly she needs her milk. She can go from zero to ten in about 5 seconds. She conttinues to sleep through the night and take great naps during the day (polar oppostie of her sister). She has the tiniest little head and chubbiest little thighs and I just want to nibble on them they are so stinking cute. She loves the jumperoo and can spend hours in it jumping around and grabbing at  all the toys. if you talk to her she loves to try to grab your face, its like she is studying every little part of you. She has this really sweet nature about the way she reaches out to you with her little pursed lips and big round eyes. Loving this baby and her seet demeanor. She is just going to be one of these loving little kids that goes with the flow. Life is good with baby number two and I cant imagine it any other way!

Transitioning and Momma's Day

Mother's day was a great day with all of my favorite girls and Mommas! We had a wonderful breakfast with my parents, my aunt and uncle, sister, cousin and our little family of four! Then we enjoyed the rest of the afternoon in the beautiful outside of our own house. It was sunny and perfect! I couldnt ask for anything better than a day with all my favorite people .

In other news the transition to daycare has been difficult for my little Franki. This is her first experience with daycare and being left without family or friends. She is still very nervous the whole time she is there. She refuses to eat breakfast and is being a quiet observer of all the plaing and madness that is daycare. The women there have been really great. They love miss franki as she insantly melts all womens hearts by just being her sweet baby self. She is doing a lot of upie, upies to the women who continue to try to encourage her to play with the other kids. She is slowly warming up and today participated in some of the dancing (as she loves to dance). One day at a time. And here is to asking for lots of prayers for momma and franki that the transition quickly turns a positive corner so that both of us can start enjoying our days.

Addi is a champ and as long as someone feeds her, holds her and loves on her..she is one happy happy baby. She even got to go on a walk outside today with one of the ladies. She even gets to paint (yes her little footprints are hanging up all around the house). They do lots of teaching at this daycare which is awesome.

Our little baby is already 3 months old! Can you believe it? TIme is flying by. She is such a well-mannered little girl. She loves to giggle at just about anything. She continues to grow and thrive everyday. She remains a wonderful sleeper.

Back to holding my sweet baby for a few more minutes before bed!
