Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

Dear Francesca,

This has been the very best year of my (our) life. You are the sweetest, funniest baby I have ever met. You are the light of my life. I have really never been so happy or fulfilled in my entire life. The day you entered this world 7/28/11 at 8:34, began what has been the best most rewarding time of our lives. Watching you grow and change has really made us so proud. It has been a year filled with great milestones and all sorts of exciting changes for you and for us as parents. We are filled with such great joy and accomplishment every time you learn something new and each time you show us your sweet little personality. Your smile, your eyes and your disposition have already touched the lives of many people. You have brought so much joy into our surrouding family. You make family gatherings all that much better. You are the center of attention and I think we could probably all sit around and watch you for hours. You are seriously that entertaining. You have so much love to give, it is amazing that such a little person can have so much love. I continue to have high hopes for you always my sweet girl because you have proven to be such a blessing over the past year and have shown how wonderful you have made our life.  Im so thankful for you. I love the way you like to hold hands when you are falling asleep. Your little funny self loves to play peek-a-boo and you give everyone kisses. I love that I got to nourish you with milk for a whole year of your life and now you are ready for big girl food and milk. I just love being your mom. You make me proud to be a mother, teacher, friend. I cant wait to see what the next year of your life brings to this family. I look forward to teaching you new things and continue learning your little quirks and personality. Happy Birthday sweet baby girl. I love you more than life. Busy Busy

We have a very busy baby girl! I mean seriously this girl can move and she goes all day long. Were lucky if she gets in a total of an hour and a half nap all day long. She is very concerned she might miss out on the action. She plays pretty much all day and now that she can walk she is all over the house and I mean ALL over. She loves going up the stairs and so far we only have gates going down stairs not up, so she frequently makes the trip all the way up the stairs and when you tell her no or be careful she thinks it is absolutely hilarious and laughs her way all the way up the stairs. We definitely know why she is a tiny little girl. No matter how much she eats, her energy levels keep all those calories burning. She definitely eats better now that she is so busy. I guess she is a little like her momma. I like being busy, I thrive on being busy. And lucky for us she has joined right in with our busy summer schedule. Ty and I have been going going going all summer long so far, its been beautiful out and we are just trying to get in as much summer sun as we can. We have been swimming every weekend, taking lots of longs walks and enjoying BBQ's with family and friends. Its been good but busy. Franki is loving all the attention and most of all she loves her weekend swimming. She is a little fish for sure and this weekend we even got Hulk in on the swimming action. Franki and Hulk enjoyed a nice float on their rafts (pretty good life for them! 90 degree weather and a raft in the swimming pool!) Doesnt get much better than this. I love summer because of the people it brigns together, the happy feeling you get when you are out in the sun and just loving my first summer with my sweet BUSY girl! 11 months!

Franki turned 11 month's during our wonderful family vacation in Breckenridge, Colorado! She amazed us with her skills while on vacation! Just one week before she turned 11 months, she was taking 3-4 steps at a tme and falling and within one week this girl wasnt crawling anymore and just walking! She now takes up to 12 steps at a time, can pivot and turn around, as soon as she falls she gets right back up and takes 12 more steps. She doesnt really crawl at all anymore unless she is really tired. So it is official we have a walking maching, now onto running. She got an awesome new pair of Keen shoes from her Moma while on vacation. They are sooo cute and really help her with her balance and coordination. Her personality is so full of just about everything. She is funny, dramatic, lovey, animated and a whole other bunch of adjectives! She makes lots of funny faces a.k.a attempts to imitate faces that we make to her. She gives kisses sometimes just for no reason at all and anytime you ask her she leans her sweet face forward and kisses you gently on the lips, cheeks or forehead. If you ask her to give hulk or her dolly kisses she also follows suit. She is following all different commands and also understands quite a few things. If you ask her id she wants to eat, she gets very excited and mad if you dont take her to her highchair immediately. She is a very picky little eater. Her staples include, mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, apples, watermelon, cereal, yogurt and that is about it! Here and there we can find fruit and veggies that she will eat, but she mostly enjoys to suck the juice out of food and spit it back out. She is a women who knows what she wants when she wants it! She sometimes (especially when she is tired) acts like a dog. She huffs  and sticks out her tounge like a dog. She also continues to growl and immitate hulk. Im not sure how this is possible but I love this girl more and more everyday. Her personality continues to fill our life with laughs and so much joy. My life is so much better because of her. Tyer and I just love everything about her and we cant wait to see what the next big month before the BIG 1 comes!!

Happy Father's Day

Almost 4 years ago, I was at a bar in Chicago having a benefit for a sweet little lady name Laila. Little did I know that one smile, one moment, one conversation, would lead to this life. At that moment in time I could have never imagined that Tyler would be the father of my child. But here we are four happy years later with a beautiful, happy little girl. We have had lots of fun and challenging times over the past 11 months and every single one of them has been totally worth it. Im so proud of Tyler as a husband and as a father. In such a short time he has become and adapted to our little life and all the changes that accommpanied it. Im blessed to have him in my life and Franki  is lucky to have Ty as her Dada. We had a nice time at the pool and then a wonderful dinner with my family. A perfect little sunday. Happy First Father's Day Tyler. Franki and I Love you!

This Girl..

This Girl...Is the absolute Love of our lives. When I say our lives I mean just about everyone in our family. She is just such a sweet girl.  She grows more dramatic by the day and it is hard not to laught at her a little bit, this girl is really good at throwing an all out girl fit. She most definitely has learned from her Aunt Elle :). And maybe a little from her Momma! Recent news she is still holding tight on one or two steps, she has amazing balance and coordination. She sits in a tri-pod position, stands, steps, crawl, and repeat all day long. Her favorite thing to do is to crawl over everyone and everything. She is a dare devil. She is not afraid of anything. I mean this girl climbed up the all our stairs and ellen only walked away from her for one minute. She loves to sit right on the ground and be part of Hulk and Molly's  (Hulk's girlfriend) wrestle session. She gets knocked over by them but she has this infectious laugh when she is around Hulk and any other dogs. She is definitely a dog girl. Which we will have to be sure to keep on eye on here around other dogs we dont know, cause like I said she is not afraid to grab a tail or ear and just laugh about it. I love the look on her face in the morning when she sees hulk. When she says his name it has this high inflection in her voice. She has one top teeth completely through and three more on there way! She went from 2 to 6 teeth  in about one month flat. Forget about toys this girl can find fun in just about anything and everything that isnt a toy. We are loving summer weather when it is here (which isnt very often, but when it is we take full advantage!) We got a pool pass this summer with my family and spent last weekend swimming adn exploring all the water. Franki loves it and I have a feeling we will be spending lots of time in the water this summer. We also have enjoyed lots of walks and just time in our front yard. Lots more fun to come!
