Happy new year!

Merry Christmas and Happy new Year!

Life has been in full swing lately between, work, dance recitalsl, the holiday and just lots of quality down time with family and friends! The girls are growing so quickly and changing so much these days it is hard not to soak up as much time as possible with them. This means lots of playroom time and lots of dollies, balls, art projects and cuddling. Its been a wonderful year this year as I reflect on all the different things that have happened. We welcomed the sweetest little Addi into our home and we are forever changed again with the love that this little one came with. It has been so amazing to watch these two girls change so much and already become fast friends. We have been blessed with two very beautiful, smiley well mannered(most of the time :)) girls. I mean really everywhere we go people cant believe how happy they are and how smiley they are. I like to think it has something to do with the way Tyler and I am and the way that we parents these sweet girls! I cant wait to see what this next year will bring. My toddler will turn into a preschooler in just half a year and my baby will be one in just 6 weeks! We have so much to be thankful for and are ready to hit 2013 with a head first start!

Happy New Year from our family to yours!

Fall in December

Have I mentioned that I love where we  live. Seriously it has been nice here since Last year February. I seriously do not remember a time when I have not liked the weather since Addi was born. We haven't seen snow in a seriously long time and I am totally ok with that. We have taken full advantage of the beautiful weather by hitting up local parks, playing outside and just taking Hulk on extra long walks around the neighborhoods on explorations for geese, rocks, trees (really these girls just love the outside). I love how much kids enjoy the outside. No toys just nature its the absolute best thing! Here is to the nicest warmest weekend start to December. We kicked it off with a holiday party and all the kids made reindeer food in mason jars all ready for x-mas eve and decorated ornaments for there tree. It was so nice to let the kids run around and enjoy some time with girlfriends! Its officially time to celebrate the Holidays! Time to Celebrate more to come!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. We were busy but our times was filled with family and friends and Christmas. Yes I know I just said it was Thanksgiving but that means that we can bust out all of our Christmas decorations and Christmas shopping Galore! We started out by having a nice relaxing Thanksgiving at my Aunt's house. It is always filled with lots of laughs and entertainment mostly provided by our two little love bugs. We then went shopping Thursday at midnight a tradition my mom and sister and I started last year. It was great. It is such a great way to kick off Christmas with my two best friends and shopping for all kinds of Christmas deals. We then spent all day friday hanging out as Family and Christmas decorating the house. Saturday we picked out our tree and Sunday we had friends over for the football fun (as Franki would say Go Bears :)) Sorry Hun we do feel a little bad for your Vikings ; ). These girls have been cracking me up lately. Addi is a blooming little personality. She is continuing to perfect her balance and walking. She also loves to clap and hear her big sister sing songs! She also has some serious seperation anxiety problems from her momma right now. This girl hates it if someone else is holding her if I am anywhere in the room. She also has been waking up in the night just to make sure that I am around. So for now I just soak up all the time she wants to snuggle up on me. Franki is just too funny. Her most recent sayings
Me: "Franki why are you taking your pants off?"
Franki: "I want to dance." (proceeds to take her pants off and dance around the house). Lets hope this theory that its easier and more fun to dance without pants doesnt stick around long.

Today as we dropped hulk off to get a haircut. We walked out of the place without Hulk and the poor girl just broke down crying that she wanted me to go back inside and get Hulk. She proceeded to cry the entire ride home because she was scared that Hulk was by himself. We had to have a fiftenn minute conversation to let her know it was kinda like hulk going to school and he would be with his favorite friends until we could come back to get him. What a sensitive souled girl she is and she loves her doggie!
Enjoy some sweet sister moments that I have caught lately.

9 months!

Adelina will be 9 months old tomorrow. It is so bittersweet. I miss the little baby in her, but am loving her little personality and all of her new tricks. She is the sweetest little thing. Her current stats:  15llbs 3 oz, 26.25 inches. She is rocking the 9th percentile! She is my little but mighty little love bug. Just last week she started taking steps, walking! I cant even believe it and it is a pretty cute site to see. She is so proud of her new accomplishments! We clap and she will clap and kick her legs when she knows that she has done something big! She loves to laugh. She will play peek-a boo with anything in the house (toys, curtains, doors, anything she can find. It is her absolutely favorite game. She gets super excited about food, seeing her sister, daddy or mommy. Her legs are like little happy legs they are always moving and kicking. She has 4 teeth, two on top and two on the bottom. She loves all of her sisters toys. I think her favorite toy is the princess castle with all the little people princesses. She loves food and will eat just about everything. Her newest trick when eating though is to taste things and spit them out before deciding if she will eat anymore. She is drinking from a cup. She likes attention. She loves Lolipops (dont even ask how she got one, but do not try to take it fom her once she gets it). Big things come in small packages rings true with this little one. She is the perfect little piece of our family. We have lots of big holiday happenings in the future. But for now we relax and take in some precious moments with our fast growing and changing Miss Addi!

halloweenie good time!

Busy fun times this weekend. The girls were in bed at 5:45 tonight that speak volumes to how much fun we had this weekend! We have been all Halloweenie and trick or treaty. Enjoy some pictures of our sweet girls lately and there adventures. Halloween pics to come this weekend. Thursday we did a trunk or treat event at the school. The girls loved seeing there friends and teachers all dressed up. WE went all out and decorated the trunk and handed out candy to everyone. Franki thought she was supposed to give candy to all the cars not take any candy it was pretty cute. Friday we went with our friends sophie, milha and val to a park distric event with games, candy, crafts and a mad science lab. Franki loved running around with her friends. Saturday we went to my Cousins college football game, it was a huge blow out game and fortunately in the sun it felt warm. Addi snuggled up to me in the carrier and slept while Franki repeatedly said she was all done watching football( we had to take a few walks during the game). Sunday we went and got more face painting done as its Franki's favorite new thing ever! It was a great few days with family and friends. Now a nice relaxing evening with the Hubs. We ate together for the first time tonight since Franki was a baby! Now its spooky movie time!

Family pics!

We recently got family pictures taken! It was a cold 50 degree Fall morning. We had a ton of fun. It was a beatuiful sunny day and all the leaves were in perfect fall colors, oranges, reds and yellows. It was a perfect mix of color for a day of photos. I could not be happier with how well the photographer was able to capture each of the girls personalities along with the love we share together as a family. Enjoy a few favorites ( saving some for x-mas cards!)! Fall posts to come soon!
